The new capacity comprises 8 brand new stainless steel tanks with a capacity of 750 cbm each. All tanks were successfully taken into operation at June 1st, 2006. They have dedicated and traced lines for truck loading and are equiped with hot water heating and nitrogen supply facilities.

The construction of these new tanks is Phase 1 of our 2500 Group Project. In Phase 2 and 3 an additional stainless steel capacity of in total 9.000 cbm will be added.

With the expansion of its capacity, Vopak Terminal Vlaardingen is capable to further accommodate the growth in storage demand in the oleochemical market.
