In line with our planned expansions Vopak Terminal Vlaardingen has placed 4 brand new stainless steel tanks with a capacity of 750 cbm each. With the expansion of its capacity, Vopak Terminal Vlaardingen is capable to further accommodate the growth in storage demand in the oleochemical market.
The new tanks have dedicated and traced lines for truck loading and are equiped with hot water heating and nitrogen supply facilities. The 4 tanks will be taken into operation in the first week of June. Further notification will be available on the website.

The 2500 Group Project is divided in Phases, namely Phase 1, 2 and 3. The new tanks are Phase 2 of our 2500 Group Project. Phase 1 and 2 are successfully delivered and comprehend a stainless steel capacity of 9,000 cbm, enlarging the total stainless steel capacity at VOPAK Terminal Vlaardingen to 45,000 cbm.
The 3rd and final Phase of our 2500 Group Project is under construction and will add another 10,000 cbm to the current stainless steel storage capacity. Phase 3 is expected to be in operation in Q1 2008. The website will provide up-to-date information about this project.
