We have begun 2008 with new energy and in great spirit. Since November our new terminal manager Jan Zandberg, with an impressive 18 years of Vopak work experience, has been devoting his knowledge, experience and best efforts to Vopak Vlaardingen. Day-to-day operational management, implementation of renovation and new-development plans, and Vopak-wide standards in the programme Operational Excellence have received his attentions. This latter programme has been operating over the past year at corporate level to combine and disseminate all company know-how and expertise. Like our terminal health assessment and internal safety courses, it is a means to improve the safety and efficiency of our services. Reason enough to start the year 2008 full of confidence!
